Role: Insights Manager

Location: London/Woking Hybrid (3 Days a week split over London & Woking sites)  

Contract: Permanent

Salary:  £ 65,000- £70,000 per annum + 10% Performance Bonus, plus Company Tech Provided

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Insights Manager to lead, mentor and develop a team of analysts while delivering powerful, commercially relevant insights to our clients.

You'll combine strong analytical capability with commercial acumen, turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence decision-making and drive incremental sales. This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact across global FMCG brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the Insights team to deliver high-quality, value-led analysis
• Manage performance appraisals, development plans and ongoing capability building
• Set and maintain consistent analytical standards aligned with group best practice
• Apply commercial understanding to ensure insights are practical, relevant and actionable
• Develop and deliver complex, multi-source reports and presentations that tell a compelling story
• Identify opportunities to drive incremental sales aligned to client strategy and field objectives
• Lead advanced statistical analysis including forecasting, regression modelling and ROI measurement
• Deliver insight across key areas such as NPD, POS effectiveness, promotions and distribution compliance
• Build strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
• Lead and contribute to regular client reviews and business development discussions
• Stay up to date with industry, retailer and competitor trends and share relevant market intelligence

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership and people management experience with leadership experience within an insights or analytics function
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability
• Strong ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Highly organised, target-driven and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in retail, FMCG or operations environments
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI

Desirable Experience

• Background in retail, FMCG or field operations
